Llandudno, a seaside resort town in the North of Wales, gets regulary swamped by the shear number of cars that visit from all over the NorthWest of England and Wales. This particular stretch (as with almost all of the roads in llandudno) will be lined with visitors parked cars on most days. This is exactly the type of road space that I think should have protected cycleways, rather than free on street parking. Decidated car parking can be provided elsewhere, off road, leaving transport corridors and town centre shopping streets to be open to pedestrians and cycles and not dominated by cars.
